Cristina Scuderi is an Italian post doc researcher working at the Karl Franzens University of Graz (Austria). Freelance journalist, graduated in History of Music (University of Padua) and graduated in Organ, Harpsichord and Electronic Music (Conservatories of Padua and Venice), she received her PhD at the University of Udine.

She is Technical Consultant to the Civil Court of Udine as "Perito musicale" (cat. 18: Entertainment/Concert Institutions and Radio Broadcasting; cat. 22: Various activities/Music) and since 2005 has been co-managing the "Contemporanea" New Music Festival and the International Composition Competition "Città di Udine" (Taukay Music Publishing House).

Cristina has taught at the Universities of Padua and Florence, Conservatories of Venice and Adria, and lectured at the Universities of Vienna, Halle, Bratislava, Zadar and Ljubljana. She has worked for the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice (Education, Research, Innovative projects Area), spending one year in Florence as a collaborator of MartLAB (Conservatory of Florence).

"Bogliasco Fellow" (2006) in musicology, she has published various essays on the music of the XVIII-XX centuries.

Furthermore she's obtained the Willems music education diploma, and has participated in several masterclasses with international teachers, playing in various recitals, as a soloist and with different ensembles. In 2006 she qualified as "Expert in the management and enhancement of musical heritage" (Veneto Region - Levi Foundation).
